Albums
Toto's discography includes 13 studio albums as well as 4 live albums. There are also a few compilations. In addition to releasing original music, Toto has also done collaborations with other artists as well as on soundtracks for films. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.
Before the formation of Toto the band, members performed session work for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session percussionist Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. The group's collaboration led to the formation of Toto in 1976.
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked an abrupt departure from the progressive sound of their earlier albums, and was criticised for its lack of hit singles. In 1985 the singer Fergie Frederiksen left the group The band held auditions for the new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the band recorded the 1986 album Fahrenheit.
In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by re-discovering old tapes and demos to release a special edition called Toto XX. The album was well-received by fans and the band embarked on a tour that featured former members Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
In the course of the tour for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun, drummer Leland Sklar quit the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included recordings from the tour and also an interview with the group.

The album Toto IV released in 1983 won them worldwide praise. Following the album's success The band 안전놀이터 embarked on a world tour in support of it. During the tour, lead vocalist Bobby Kimball was arrested on drug charges. The band decided to let him leave at the conclusion of the tour and hired guitarist/singer Joseph Williams in his place. Drummer David Hungate also left the band following the tour. Leland Sklar took over his place.

Its exhibits include toilets, faucets, and tableware that have contributed to the growth of the TOTO brand over the last half century. The museum is home to special exhibits all throughout the year.

Toto was formed following Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and Boz Scaggs recorded Silk Degrees. Paich played keyboards on Steely Dan's records, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
In 1998, Toto began working on an album called Old Is New. This album included three new tracks, as well as several recordings of songs from the past. The album was a huge success worldwide and the band went on a worldwide tour to promote it.

Toto known for the hit single "Africa", recently reunited to promote their new album, All In. The album was released on November 6, 2018, and included three brand new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, as well as completed recordings of four other older tracks featuring Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album included the cover version of Weezer's track "Hash Pipe," which the band re-released after hearing it on the radio.
